  • Thank you so much for providing this wonderful distribution. Just what I've been looking for. A modern, stable, easy to use, systemd-free, linix distro. One of the few that works out of the box on my new laptop. My new favorite distro of choice. Well done.

  • OpenRC is a viable alternative to Systemd and this distribution on Manjaro is a godsend!

  • Excellent job, either using the CLI or the GUI installer. My sound card is not recognised, but it the case for the majority of Linux installation i've tested recently (except for ubuntu, but I now want to escape systemd invasion...) After a reboot, I can see that the installer has kept my 3 other OS, and that's cool. But, and this is a big but, the next update break everything: not only the grub has now only 2 entries for this only one OS, but neither of them is working ! (blank screen) Booting back via usb, i'm really missing the vmlinuz.old that almost every OS was keeping aside when installing a new kernel :( Anyway, thanks for the good work! (And for me, I'll see how I can escape breaking my system a second time...)

  • I have just given a try to manjaro openrc-xfce 1603 64bit. Congratulations to that great job of yours. Thank you. Everything works fantastically well! I installed it on an old ACER laptop (BIOS mode, MBR disk partitioning). Every "critical" application was installed successfully including citrix receiver 13.3, rdesktop, skype etc. Wondering how well the cinnamon desktop will work.... Looking forward to see more.
